Why these meals: This week gives you a different main each night, all in familiar kid-friendly flavors: a ground beef pasta skillet on Monday, roast chicken on Tuesday, pulled pork sliders on Wednesday, pan-seared salmon on Thursday and a cheesy chicken sausage pasta bake on Friday. Yellow potatoes and corn show up on both Tuesday and Thursday, so one 5 lb bag and two 4 packs cover both nights. The Wednesday pork roast is just $4.47 for about 3 lbs, but it needs roughly 3 hours in the oven, so plan to start it in the afternoon. Meal: Roasted Whole Chicken with Yellow Potatoes and Corn

Meal: Slow-Roasted Pulled Pork Sliders with Potatoes au Gratin
Description: A bone-in pork shoulder butt roast is oven-roasted low and slow until it shreds easily, then piled onto tortilla wraps. Served with creamy potatoes au gratin.
